Fully Automatic Center Steady From Herkules (Self-Adjusting Center Steady)
The forces generated by the grinding process and the associated deflection of very slender rollers are compensated for by a fully automatic Herkules single-point steady rest.
The center steady is used to support the workpiece during the sanding process and ensure precise guidance. This is particularly important to stabilize the workpiece and avoid vibrations or oscillations that affect the quality of the processing.
- Precision: High-precision machining is made possible by supporting the workpiece against the grinding wheel during machining.
- Stability: The center steady is mounted exactly opposite the grinding wheel. This position guarantees direct compensation of the grinding forces during grinding over the entire length of the roll
