Technical presentation at AISTech 2017

Herkules is going to present three of its major technological innovations at this year’s AISTech, a leading technology event for the steel industry, in Nashville, Tennessee, USA on May 8. The presentation, held by Sales Engineer Jared Jörgens, will start at 10:30 in room 201A of the Music City Center and includes:

• Herkules MACHtechnology – the first technology package that allows for the economical and reproducible finishing of rolls using CBN grinding wheels
• The roll surface inspection system RSIS that locates even the smallest optical surface defects on rolls during the grinding process and
• The world’s largest roll grinder WS 1100 with a Monolith™ machine bed that grinds rolls in chocks with a weight of up to 90 t
