Technically always up to date: Herkules brings grinding machine of American customer to new life

Ever-increasing market demands keep technical developments on the move. Thanks to the modernization options at Herkules, it is easy for one of our American customers to increase the overall performance of his grinding machine. The customer purchased a WS III CPT 60,200 x 13,500 mm roll grinder as a retrofit machine - to ensure that it continues meeting the highest requirements, it is now being modernized by our experts.

The advantages of such a project are obvious: in addition to increased production efficiency, the modernization measures will ensure the functional safety of the machine for years to come. In addition to the mechanical overhaul of individual machine components, the most modern control and measuring technology is being retrofitted. A superfinisher for fine grinding ensures the highest surface quality, while a fully integrated Ventanip milling unit optimizes the roll profiles produced, if necessary. Both the special equipment and the measuring systems, whose measurement results are recorded in real time and are available on demand at any time, are easy to operate via the HCC/KPM control system.
