KPM stand for service “made in Germany”. The employees – American engineers and technicians – are trained in the German production companies. Continuous training makes sure they are always on top of technological developments and can react quickly and flexibly to customers’ requirements.

Mechanical or electrical engineering – everything takes place in-house at KPM. The headquarters, covering 7,525 m² (81,000 sq ft), is equipped with a modern machine inventory. It includes a wide range of lathes, milling and grinding machines along with measuring devices, many of which are manufactured within the company group, and guarantees the highest machining quality.

Sam Kube and Albert Plekker found KPM in Greensburg, Pennsylvania in 1983. They start developing machine controls. In 1989, KPM moves into the new company headquarters in Ford City, Pennsylvania. The presidents decide to specialize in the modernization of roll grinders in 1990. In 1999, KPM becomes part of the HerkulesGroup and has been a competent and reliable partner for service and modernizations in North America since.
