International ArcelorMittal AGORA Meeting at Herkules in Siegen
Once again, ArcelorMittal's annual AGORA Meeting brought together many of the company's employees from different locations this year to exchange news, practical experience and innovative standardization procedures. An important part of these meetings is, among other things, the exchange with suppliers. In addition to an impressive plant tour through the production halls of Herkules and WaldrichSiegen, the 32 participants from Spain, France, Poland, Belgium and Germany received an update on the latest technologies from our experts during targeted presentations.
"During the meeting, we were able to present HCC/KPM's technically advanced Modular Roll Shop Management System. We have been pushing the technical development of the system in recent years and thus established a new benchmark in terms of Roll Shop Management System on the market," explains sales representative Tobias Wurm. "In addition, the latest technical innovations on the part of Herkules were presented, including the area of control and measuring technology as well as our roll inspection systems."
During the plant tour, the participants were able to gain a first-hand impression of Herkules' outstanding technologies. "The high vertical range of manufacture within the companies of the HerkulesGroup and the investments in the Kaan-Marienborn site that have been made in recent years made a deep impression on our visitors," reports Tobias Wurm.
"All in all, it was a successful meeting, for the customer but also for us. During numerous one-on-one discussions, we were often told by customers that Herkules is still the front-runner when it comes to further and new developments on the market. This kind of feedback is very helpful and, at the end of the day, creates the conditions for us to continuously expand our already leading role in the roll machining sector."
In addition to Herkules, the experts from ArcelorMittal also visited Irle Rolls, Gontermann & Peipers, and SMS in Hilchenbach.
